Ensure that wood framing is prepared correctly
Correct back framing must be in place for Aurora Overhead Door to install doors and openers without incurring incremental charges. This diagram shows the framing required for a standard installation. For non-standard and hi-lift doors please get details from our sales people.
Note that you should not cover any of the framing with drywall. And the edge of the drywall should be well clear of the door opening, otherwise it will absorb moisture.
